This unroasted green coffee bean from Masaguara, Honduras, has a distinctive flavour with fruity lychee notes and a gentle hint of brandy, thanks to being washed and aged in brandy barrels. Grown at 1,700 metres from the Catuai variety, it’s best suited for a light roast, especially for filter coffee. Roasting just after the first crack helps keep its delicate flavours and rich aroma.
